“We had been on the receiving end of a Company who had blatantly mis sold us a large PPI Insurance policy with a secured loan about Five Years ago, they were supposed to offer us a choice of monthly (which are a lot cheaper) or single premium insurances but failed to do so. I didn’t think we would be believed by anyone about how we were mistreated and probably wouldn’t have made the claim if I hadn’t have spoken to David & Kerry (Refund Claims ) they helped to point out to us how these policies are supposed be offered to people and in our case this was not correctly done and that it was possible to demonstrate this using the Lenders documents and we didn’t need to loose the money, but anyway I’m happy now we have received the money back and I’m delighted with the result

"I had to consolidate my Debts in 2006 and took a loan to reduce my monthly outgoings, I was not in a position to benefit from an insurance policy as I have been unable to work at the time due to ill health and i didn’t even know that insurance was on the agreement that I was signing for, I know that this sounds a bit silly of me but I was so stressed at the time that I didn’t take the time to read the small print and was visited by the company who I thought were offering me help when my own bank didn’t want to know. Luckily I was able to receive the cost of this insurance and the interest I have paid for the extra amount so I’m delighted that I finally did something about it and got my money back."

"I was going through a divorce at the time that I needed the loan and the people who arranged my loan offered me a way of paying my bills after I had been refused by many other companies, I’m a self a employed builder and didn’t believe that I qualified for payment protection insurance and when asked the broker about this I was told that if I didn’t take it I would be refused the loan which was not true, I wanted to make a complaint about this but I just didn’t have time to spend on it, I told the claims manager of my circumstances and they did the rest which meant I could carry on running my business, I received a fair settlement and I’m very happy with the outcome."

“we took a debt consolidation Loan which was arranged by a broker who told me that I needed to have a payment protection plan and I wanted the reassurance of this insurance but I didn’t research the cost of the policy that they arranged, I did mention that it seemed expensive but was told that if I didn’t take the lenders insurance they were likely to refuse the loan I felt I had no option and agreed, several years later I told the claims adviser about this and they told me that this is not the case I was supposed to be given the option of a monthly pay as you type of insurance aswell so that I could compare the cost, the broker pushed me towards the policy that paid them the highest commission and I agreed to a policy that added twenty five per cent of my loan to the total Loan the policy was for £5,000 pounds and furthermore it was not explained that these type of policies only last for the first 5 years but I will pay interest on this money for 20 years which in my book is outrageous, but Refund Claims were able to recover compensation not only for the policy but the interest as well so I would thoroughly recommend going ahead if you were misold insurance the way we were

"I took policy to cover the payments on a loan in good faith, I was not told that if I had a pre existing illness the insurance would not be valid. I lost my job when my illness got worse. I contacted the insurance company and after they looked into my case they told me that I was not covered and that the broker should have pointed this out tome which they didn’t, happily the claims company managed to get my policy money plus extra ithe charges I had been paying refunded to me. Which is a great outcome. "

"We got into debt a few years ago and our only option was to go to a Loan Broker (never again!!) for a loan, we were bullied into taking the only insurance that offered we tried to cancel the policy when we saw how much it cost but after many calls we persuaded to keep it for fear of loosing the loan offer which we needed desperately at the time I told Refunds about our experience after a few months they called to tell me that they had received the whole cost including interest back in compensation and asked for our account details as they were going to wire the money to our account! I can’t tell you how exited we were when we found out we had written the money off and we went straight out and booked a holiday!! We would recommend this company they actually delivered what they promised and we couldn’t ask for more!"
